Simple Procedure to enroll for ISTQB Foundation Level Certification Exam
I got many suggestions from my dear tester friends asking us to publish a simple, short, crisp procedure to enroll for ISTQB Foundation level certification exam (CTFL).
Here I am giving simple steps for the enrollment for CTFL exam.
Step-1: browse across the ISTQB website http://www.istqb.in/
Step-2: Click on the forth tab i.e. “ENROLLMENT”.
Step-3:
Select the desired radio button under exam level i.e. “Foundation” or “Advanced”.
You will be taken to the Login Screen asking you to key in the login information, if already available.
Step-4: If registering for the first time, click the link “New Registration”.
Key in the following information:
a) Personal Information
b) Permanent Address
c) Postal Address
d) Check mark the “I agree to the terms and conditions ”
Once you complete the registration, you will get a confirmation to that effect through an e-mail to your declared e-mail ID.
You will get the information about your Registration Number, User name and the password.
Step-5: Making payments through demand drafts (DD).
If you happen to appear in an exam in India, arrange a demand draft prepared in favor of “Indian Testing Board”.
Step-6: Where to send the demand draft?
Click on “Contact us” link
Here, you will get the postal addresses of NOIDA & Bangalore offices, where you can send your payment. There is no need to send any document along-with your payment by demand draft.
Some useful tips:
1) Preserve a photocopy of your demand draft, for future reference.
2) Write your name & address at the back of the demand draft, before sending.
Step-7: After sending your payment through Demand Draft, you need to provide the demand draft particulars in your exam schedule information.
To access your exam schedule information, you need to log in to your profile account using the user name & password.
Step-8: This is the time for you to patiently wait for about a week, during which you will get the information about the date of your examination.
a) Comprehensive instructions are available in your profile page available on your logged in account.
b) Details of your examination center shall become available after your payments actually get confirmed.
Step-9: Last step is on the D-day of your online exam at the designated examination center. You will get the result card after the exam.
For success in the exam you need to score 25 marks out of a total of 40 questions.

In DD what the address should be mentioned,
Address a:SOFTWARE TESTING CERTIFICATION BOARD, payable at ‘NEW DELHI’ to our Noida or Bangalore Office
or
Address b:SOFTWARE TESTING CERTIFICATION BOARD
