Deep study of these 175 questions shall be of great help in getting success in ISTQB Foundation Level Exam
Q. 171: What are the different major test implementation & execution activities that actually transform the test conditions into test cases?
The test implementation & execution activities are:
1) Repeating testing activities;
2) Building test suites;
3) Reporting problems;
4) Logging of the findings;

Q. 172: Describe the fundamental test process activities?
1) Planning & control;
2) Test analysis & design;
3) Test implementation & execution;

Q. 173: Explain the basic principles of software testing?
1) Testing must start right from the beginning of the project.
2) Most of the software defects are generally attributed to small units of the code.
3) By running the same tests time & again we reach a point beyond which we are unable to find any more defects. This is known as pesticide paradox. Thus test cases are continuously revised to unearth more & more defects.
4) Even if the software has been found to conform to the requirements, it must be ensured that the product is free from errors & is fit for its intended use.

Q. 174: Which activities are associated with the term debugging & how debugging is different from Testing?
Debugging refers to the process of doing analysis & subsequently removing the different causes of failures in the software product. Debugging deals with the activities like finding the causes of defects, followed by fixing of the code & ensuring that the defects are correctly resolved. That is why debugging is different from testing which remains linked to some sort of analysis but testing does not get involved in actual removal of defects.

Q. 175: Describe the situations under which project managers take the decision to stop the testing?
Testing is stopped according to the pre defined exit criteria. Project related constraints like scope, time & cost involved directly affect the decision related to stopping of the testing activities. Likewise code coverage, reliability metrics, business risks & technical risks are also the major factors influencing such decision.
